Die, die also must put Lee Kuan Yew photo.

An article appeared in The Straits Times today on Dec. 28, 2013, about three different leaders:

Chin Peng, Malayan Communist Party leader
[A well-known communist who died in Bangkok on Sept. 16 this year just as Lee Kuan Yew celebrated his 90th birthday]

Barack Obama

Nelson Mandela

But ST decided to put Lee Kuan Yew’s photo instead:

Singaporeans from all walks of life and various IPPT CAT level said they are not surprised The Straits Times is spreading misinformation.

This after ST reported earlier today that the SAF will be making changes to the IPPT by April next year.

It was reported that some of the changes include replacing the 2.4km run with 3.2km and phasing out Standing Board Jump because everyone go gym train upper body only.

However, the SAF came out just now to clarify, saying any changes to the IPPT stems from the over active imagination of the reporter.

One Singaporean, who has been repeatedly deceived by ST over the years, said: “The moment I hear any news is from ST, I won’t believe.”

“Now they make this kind of boo boo, then later they will keh siao all act blur as if nothing happened and this mistake was never made and no reporter will get into trouble or even provide an apology or explanation.”

“Typical one.”

What would we do without Yahoo! News?

With 127,000 commuters rubbing buttocks against buttocks and dry humping one another for five hours as the North-South MRT line went tits up on Dec. 15, SMRT sent out this message asking its cabbies to cash in on this chance.

Remember this? Do you even know from where did it originate from?

The Straits Times reporter, Daryl Chin, being newsworthy and all, tried to get to the bottom of it but to no avail.

He couldn’t reach the person who took the whistle-blowing “Income opportunity” photo. Attempts to contact the photographer were unsuccessful. Indeed.

But no fear, because Yahoo! News is here.
