Local indie band, Pitch Feather, does a better job taking a stab at it.
Less than 24 hours after the godawful NDP 2013 theme song went viral for all the wrong reasons, local indie acoustic act, Pitch Feather had a go at it and came up with something acoustic and better.
Take a listen:
Kings of Convenience it is not, but it is better that the original that features sounds of what appears to be wounded animals getting repeatedly bludgeoned.
And so the question: Why can’t songwriting duties for NDP be outsourced to locals with talent and who actually have a ear for what sells?
Why not hold a competition and let people vote to decide what song they want?
NDP committee, you reading this?
