Fire at JEM mall in Jurong East on Good Friday night could be final warning by God

This is it, folks.

A fire that broke out near the H&M boutique at JEM shopping mall at Jurong East on Good Friday night could well be the last warning sent by God to His people.

The incident took place around 10pm on April 3, 2015.

This marks the 8th sign God has sent JEM mall.

Previously, His seven signs went largely unheeded in 2014 and The Merciful One could be trying to warn his people one more time, before He destroys the shopping centre for good by razing it down to the ground.

According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the blaze on the first level had started from electrical wires in the exterior wall of the building but shoppers were undeterred and continued in their pursuit of consumerist practices even when it was clear woe would befall them.

One shopper, Xing Ye Shu, said she is confident the eighth sign won’t be the last as there will probably be 10 signs in total, like what she saw on the cartoon The Prince of Egypt and the movie Exodus: Gods and Kings, starring Batman Christian Bale: “I still have time. Next week still got sale. No need to repent so soon.”

“Anyway there is still JCube.”

Heed God’s word now:

Several thousand taking turns to lay hands and pray for tragedy-stricken mall.

In a bid to cast out the remaining demons left in JEM Mall, thousands of Singaporeans from all walks of life have gathered together to lay hands and pray for the mall.

This after the mall suffered multiple episodes of bad fortune, such as having its supermarket catch fire and its ceiling collapsing spraying water all over the place two weeks ago.

This latest episode caused the mall to close for two weeks, leading Jurong residents to live out the darkest of days where all meaning is lost as they don’t have a mall to go to.

One Jurong resident, Hao Yun Lai, said: “We have gathered here today until Wednesday to continuously pray for JEM Mall. This marathon session will ensure we drive out all the evil.”

Others are not taking any chances.

Another resident, Du Zi Er, said: “We will fast and flagellate ourselves openly. The bloodletting will signal a new beginning.”

The Jurong residents will also invite the various religious leaders who prayed for the F1 race track earlier this month to bless the JEM Mall for added insurance.

But if something bad still happens, they will ask for their money back.

Secular activities such as eating and shopping unavailable, resulting in spike in religiosity.

Singaporeans in the western part of the island are turning to religion.

This after the much-publicised opening of Jem mall in Jurong East did not come to pass yesterday. And today, the mall remains shut.

This lack of secular activities, such as eating and shopping, to satiate the lost and the restless has caused Singaporeans to deviate to other outlets to feel fulfillment.

One of which is religion.

One Singaporean Juronger, Yeshu Aini, said: “Jem mall was closed so I went to this religious place in Jurong West for the first time last evening.”

“There was a lot of singing, clapping, loud music, dancing, merchandise, air con, crowds, materialism and socialising. It was not Jem, but it sure felt like it.”
