Highly religious Singaporeans from that particular walk of life, who like to mind other people’s business, have made a shocking discovery.

This after they scrutinised why Taiwan has allowed same-sex marriage unions and discovered that it is because Taiwanese pop idol Jay Chou’s name sounds like “Gay Chou”.

One highly religious Singaporean, Qu Jiao Tang, said: “There is no doubt the reason same-sex marriage is allowed in Taiwan is because of Jay Chou.”

“Over the years, his name has appeared repeatedly in the mainstream media to soften the effect of “Gay” as his name sounds just like ‘Gay Chou’.”

Other highly religious Singaporeans said the transition has been ongoing for years making it unnoticeable and no one could have caught it out.

Another highly religious Singaporean, Xing Ye Shu, said: “The acceptance of same-sex marriage is because if you listen to Jay Chou, you will think ‘Hmmm, I really like Jay Chou.'”

“Then slowly, slowly, ‘Jay’ will turn into ‘Gay’ and then the next thing we know it, same-sex marriage has been legalised.”

“This is insidious.”

Sun Ho’s music was a major turning point in his otherwise heathen life.

Sources familiar with prominent Taiwanese superstar pop idol Jay Chou said he was deeply inspired by City Harvest church singer Sun Ho’s music from her Crossover Project.

This after Sun Ho, who is the co-founder and wife of City Harvest church pastor, Kong Hee — who is one of the six accused of misusing church money — told the court on Monday when she took the stand that her music had helped inspire loads of artistes to embrace her religion and Jay Chou was one of them.

A representative familiar with Jay Chou has since said that the Taiwanese pop idol had received abundant grace and blessings in his heathen life but only took the firm step in the religious direction after he listened to life-altering China Wine song and watch its video.

China Wine, a song with a music video that showed a Chinese woman dressed as a partially-clothed geisha doing dirty moves with her body in a moving tribute to her maker, has been credited with helping Sun Ho spread the message of her religion throughout the world with its heartfelt portrayals of caring for others and promoted the message of forgiveness and empathy.

The representative also emphasised that Jay Chou had embraced religion because his life had been touched personally by that particular song by Sun Ho and not because he observed the tenets of the religious belief on his own accord, as initially believed to be the case by his fans and followers.

Xing Ye Shu, a fan familiar with Jay Chou’s life, said: “Before China Wine came along and touched his heart and moved his spirit, Jay Chou was a heathen who made music for himself. Now he makes music to replicate the uplifting feeling bestowed by a song like China Wine.”

“Deeply moving and tear-jearking.”

The Mandarin pop icon also reportedly said that since he submitted himself to the tenets of Sun Ho’s religion, at no point in time did he think China Wine was not a good song to do QT (Quiet Time) to.

At press time, China Wine is continuing to covert the masses as shouts of “Oh gawd! Save me!” were heard whenever the song or music video was played.

No grass, no songs.

Jay Chou looks like he is trying to smell the grass.

It’s official: More grass is needed in the Singapore Sports Hub pitch to entice Jay Chou to perform there.

Taiwan superstar Jay Chou released a statement on Oct. 17, 2014 saying that a vital ingredient for his concert, which was initially scheduled for Nov. 8, is grass and that the current pitch is just not on par with his usual standards.

As such the concert will be postponed to Dec. 27.

A spokesman for Jay Chou, Xu Yao Chao said: “It’s unacceptable to have more sand than grass at the venue. If my boss wants to hold a concert at the beach, we will jolly well book at Sentosa or East Coast Park. We want to smell the grass. Besides, my boss’ favourite colour is green.”

New Nation spoke to a couple of Jay Chou fans for their comments, who agreed grass is what drives their idol’s creativity.

Long Juan Feng, a long-time Jay Chou fan, said: “Any self-respecting singer needs grass to perform. It’s already reported in some scientific journals. This is totally not my Jay’s fault. It’s Singapore Sports Hub’s fault. I hate you!”

Another fan, Shuang Jie Kun said: “Jay is a perfectionist. I understand his concern. However, I cannot believe Singapore has no grass. Cannot buy from Malaysia?”
