A humourless PAP leader has fired another salvo at Workers’ Party chairwoman Sylvia Lim.

This after the WP chairwoman Lim posted an Instagram photo of her and Singaporean football legend Quah Kim Song.

Some have suggested fielding him at Jalan Besar GRC. He's too busy being a retiree. #reasonstolive

This prompted the humourless PAP leader to question: “Now we see the chairman of the town council taking a picture with local football legend Quah Kim Song. What’s going to happen? You’re going to swallow up Quah? For what purpose? To eat up his CPF? Or is Quah an easy target because he’s a retiree?”

The humourless PAP leader also said he wondered if Quah and other retirees eyed by the WP would face the same issues.

Singaporeans from all walks of life who are grey and a little slow to comprehend things said they totally agree with the humourless PAP leader’s analysis.

One grey and humourless local, Hen Ren Zhen said: “There is no doubt Workers’ Party’s Sylvia Lim is going to swallow up Quah Kim Song. This is the same as Sylvia Lim indicating previously she will swallow up Fengshan SMC as it looks delicious and can be readily swallowed.”

A super powerful Singaporean blogger Jin Xiasuay, who lost 8,700 Instagram followers overnight causing her numbers to plunge from 13,629 to slightly more than 5,000, has publicly denied suggestions she bought her fans.

Addressing the media, she has also spoken about her nagging suspicion that many of her followers might have unfortunately passed away at night causing her numbers to fall drastically.

Writing at length on her blog, Xiasuay said:

“Some of you might have noticed that I lost 8,700 followers overnight or some 64 percent of my following. However, I would like to state that I have never, ever bought any Instagram followers before.”

“I believe that these 8,700 followers must have unfortunately passed away at the same time, and as a result, their families have informed Instagram to shut down their accounts.”

“Maybe there is a violent disease spreading in Singapore which resulted in this many people dying at once.”

“But you all can give me some time and I can guarantee that I will have the same number of Instagram followers back up again like I used to have.”

Another super power blogger, Baey Hiao Bai, who lost between 15,000 and 20,000 in a blink of an eye, said she concurs with Xiasuay and that she is also concerned about the welfare of her followers: “I hope the advertisers don’t ask me to repay the money they paid me for marketing to this supposed large base of my followers.”

“My followers are all real one. Maybe they all committed suicide at the same time because some other blogger made them sad?”

“I want to announce that despite what has happened, I am still a good person inside. All I do is showcase conspicuous consumption and indulge in frivolity.”

“Other than that I’m just like you and me, except I don’t have a proper job.”
