Dengue mosquitoes in Singapore are experiencing a First World Problem.

Many of them are feasting so much on nutritious Singaporean blood that they have become overweight and suffer from health problems.

They grow so big, they resemble rats.

Wen Zi Yao, a local dengue mosquito, said: “We are what we eat. Singaporeans getting fatter, so we also upsized.”

This has resulted in many dengue mosquitoes dying from modern day health problems like diabetes and heart diseases.
