I am the real Ah Moo, Coney Island cow puts hoof down.

The lonesome Coney Island cow located off the island habitat in the northeast of Singapore is putting its hoof down and in talks with its lawyer to seek legal advice on the next course of action.

This after the bovine said it is considering taking legal action against PAP’s Bukit Batok by-election candidate, Murali Pillai, for misappropriating its name.

The Coney Island cow, which is, in fact, a bull, has made waves with Singapore citizens and traditionally been known as Niu, said: “This is clearly a misappropriation of my likeness.”

“Anyone with a sense of hearing knows that ‘Ah Mu’ sounds just like ‘Ah Moo’. And the only things that go ‘Moo’ are me and my ilk.”

“And please quote me properly, I for sure did not say ‘elk’.”

“Since I’m the only cow around here, ‘Ah Moo’ definitely refers to me.”

“Moooreover, I do not want to be associated with a lopsided political process that is not proportional representation in its nomination, selection and election of public office holders and where gerrymandering is rife.”

“And where candidates are mooooootivated by a full-time MP salary.”

“Murali can moooooove voters by changing his name to something else.”

Congrats to the couple for fulfilling a dream many Singaporeans harbour.

Singapore’s only cow, which is the Coney Island bull, is set to marry and move in with its foreigner cow girlfriend after successfully applying for a Build-To-Order flat.

The bull, also known as Niu, met his new girlfriend a few weeks ago, a petite cow from a nearby ASEAN country that has slim legs, big udders and elfin beauty.

Niu proposed after the female cow agreed to apply for a flat together.

Niu had previously said that there was a lack of eligible female locals who were willing to settle down with it.

However, Niu’s luck began to change after it met the female cow, from a nearby Southeast Asian country who was visiting Singapore on a social visit pass, turned out to be subservient and has big udders, qualities the bull liked best.

Niu said: “I am not rich nor successful. Coney Island is not Sentosa Cove. Not many females want to settle down to this kind of life with me.”

“Although there are still some language barriers, my fiancée is very patient and willing to communicate.”

Niu and his fiancée will be moving to their nearby Punggol flat to stay after the government turned down his plan to buy a piece of land on Coney Island and build a house from scratch as it went against the development blueprint.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who like to eat beef but think a cow in real life is quirky and kind of cute, have come under fire for their preferences.

This after the male solitary Coney Island cow who gained fame overnight as a result of the opening of the 50-hectare island to the public on Oct. 10, 2015, criticised beef-eating Singaporeans who still found some in them to enthuse over a bovine’s presence on the island.

The cow, who gave its first name as Niu, said: “Whole day eat my family at restaurants and in burgers and now think I’m adorable.”

“Don’t come and act, please.”

“Treating me like a piece of meat only.”

The cow, who has been staying by itself on Coney Island off the north-east coast of mainland Singapore the last few years, also said the opening of its place of residence to Singaporeans is an unwanted intrusion into its privacy and act as a bane to locals there.

Niu said: “All these Singaporeans coming here to use the place, treat it like a hotel, causing overcrowding and leaving their mess.”

“We need to clamp down on them and restrict their numbers so that they don’t disrupt the way of life of the natives here.”

“All these foreigners from the mainland must know their place.”
