Popping, cracking floor tiles a sign HDB flat haunted, inhabitants to be killed by spirits

Posted on 17 January 2018

It is the end.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who have watched enough horror movies and read enough Russell Lee, are shaking their heads as they know fellow Singaporeans are about to be killed by evil spirits.

This after more than 700 HDB flats had floor tiles spontaneously popping and cracking in the first two weeks of January 2018.

One Singaporean, Kwa Teo Kwee, said: “Having read enough True Singapore Ghost Stories, I can assure you, the residents in the HDB flats will be killed by the spirits as it is evident their premises are haunted.”

“If you think this is purely a physical phenomenon, you haven’t immersed yourself into Singapore culture long enough.”

“If you think all these scary movies and books were written for fun and laughter, I’m sorry, it was nice knowing you.”

Other locals said dying from being killed by ghosts haunting you is not so bad.

Another local, See Keow Keow, said: “It is better to be killed by ghosts than not being able to withdraw all your CPF monies.”

“At least when you get killed by ghosts, you have closure and certainty.”

“Same cannot be said about your CPF monies.”
