Singaporeans must then apologise to Lee Kuan Yew.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who recognise the issue at hand at once, have asked Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to apologise to his father, the late Lee Kuan Yew.

This after PM Lee made a video to apologise to Singaporeans for causing them to feel sad due to the publicising of the Lee family’s household problems.

One Singaporean, Dui Bu Qi, said: “PM Lee must make video and apologise to Lee Kuan Yew instead. At the end of the day, it is Lee Kuan Yew who is being let down by the Lee family.”

“Singaporeans are not important in this equation.”

“Lee Kuan Yew did not found a country just to be let down.”

Other locals said PM Lee has a greater duty after apologising to his father.

Another local, Gui Xia Lai, said: “PM Lee must then ask Singaporeans to apologise to Lee Kuan Yew. Then that would be the right thing to do.”

“Singaporeans as a whole has let Lee Kuan Yew down. Not only have we not lived up to expectations, we are a national disgrace.”
