Cathay Cineleisure changes name to Cathgay Cineleisure for month of June

Posted on 10 June 2017

In solidarity.

Cathay Cineleisure will be called Cathgay Cineleisure for the pride month of June.

This after thousands of Singaporeans turned irreversibly gay when they walked into Cathgay Cineleisure and saw the Pink Dot advertisement inside.

To inform Singaporeans that they will be gay the moment they walk into Cathgay Cineleisure, an 8-metre long Pink Dot ad has been put up at the main entrance so that anyone approaching from Somerset side will turn gay when they see it from as far as 200 metres away.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who have been exposed to heterosexual content in mainstream media all their lives, are applauding Cathgay Cineleisure’s name change.

One Singaporean, Qu Jiao Tang, said: “To merely put up Pink Dot ads inside and outside of the mall to show support for the cause is just paying lip service.”

“For Cathay to become Cathgay is to really stand in solidarity with Pink Dot as you become it and not just engage in virtue signalling.”

“Therefore, people who oppose homosexuality but have not tried it are untenable as humans with beliefs as how can you oppose something you have not tried?”

“This also means that to be opposed to the death penalty would require one to try it first.”
