Posted on 25 April 2017

Three thoughts you must have had.

Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam said the risk of foreign entities attempting to meddle with domestic politics in Singapore is “pretty substantial”.

Here are three thoughts Singaporeans have:

sian-half-auntie “If only Singaporeans can make as much headway influencing local politics as foreigners.”
Gao Zhen Zhi, 43-year-old town council administrative assistant

sian-half-uncle “One moment Singapore is so small the world doesn’t care about us, the next moment our local politics is worth influencing.”
Puah Tang Sai, 64-year-old toilet seat manufacturer

happy-bird-girl “Another news topic to report on: ‘Risk of local entities meddling in local politics ‘not substantial at all’.”
Hao Seow, 19-year-old coin sorter
