S’poreans excited to see Serina Wee again as City Harvest case referred to appeal court

Posted on 11 April 2017

They thought it was the last they saw of her.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who know a goddess when they see one, are clapping their hands and feeling excited as they thank the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

This after the prosecution in the City Harvest Church case has filed a “criminal reference” to the Court of Appeal to ask why the jail terms of all six church leaders were cut, which means Serina Wee might be in public again.

One Singaporean, Jin Hua Hee, said: “We thought this case was finally over and it was the last we saw of Serina Wee, but I guess not.”

“There will always be the next miracle as long as we hope and pray.”

Other locals said this must surely be a sign.

Another local, Tian You Lee, said: “Some times you think it is over and you lose hope, but it’s not over.”

“It’s not over until Serina Wee sings.”

“This shows there is a god.”
