Singaporeans feel less hiatus-triggered knowing this fact.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who initially felt hiatus-triggered, are feeling less hiatus-triggered.

This after they found out that Sang Nila Utama, who died in year 1347, was the first president of Singapore.

One Singaporean, Ma Lai Ren, said: “It is nice to know where Singapore’s roots come from once we go way back.”

“She had her fair share of palaces and First Nations People who had been here since time immemorial.”

However, other locals said they are still feeling a little hiatus-triggered though.

Another local, Tng Lang, said: “Funny how Singapore will always still need a Chinese prime minister though.”
