Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong takes key out of his home for the first time ever, parades it.

Singaporeans from all walks of life finally got the chance to see the legendary key to Singapore’s success as it was paraded around by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong yesterday for the first time.

The legendary key to Singapore’s success is approximately five feet long and weighs under two kg. It has been residing in PM Lee’s house.

The key has been in Singapore’s possession for the last 50 years and is widely cited for helping propel Singapore from the Third World to Second.

Historian, Suo Shi, said many Singaporeans are aware of the key’s existence but no one has seen it in the flesh until now: “We always talk about ‘the key to Singapore’s success’, but we’ve never really quite seen it.”

“To witness it in the flesh is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Other Singaporeans who saw the key, said it looks better than they imagined.

Sho Xi, a local, said: “I’ve always thought that the key to Singapore’s success was metaphorical, like a figure of speech.”

“I never thought it was actually 3D like my figure of speech,” she said, as she took out a 3D speech bubble from her purse.
