S’poreans react to some Madonna concert-goers given free seat upgrades at last minute

Posted on 28 February 2016

Three thoughts that must have went past your mind at some point.

Some Madonna fans were informed via text on Sunday morning that their concert seat tickets were upgraded at the last minute.

No other details were given as to why this was so except it was due to the set up of the stage.

Here are three thoughts Singaporeans have:

sian-half-auntie “Those who got free upgrades are proven heathens who are anti-religious.”
Qu Jiao Tang, 40-year-old social worker

sian-half-uncle “This shows anti-religious people can also be nice.”
Hao Xing Ren, 65-year-old hawker

happy-bird-girl “When was the last time Singaporeans got such good treatment?”
Qiu Gua, 19-year-old pub singer
