Fish refutes claim it was sedated, said PAP’s Koh Poh Koon was the one on general anaesthesia

He was hardly conscious and just going through motion, fish claims.

The fish seen in a video flopping into the water motionlessly after it was released by PAP MP Koh Poh Koon has come out to refute claims that it was sedated.

This after Koh, who is the Minister of State for National Development, and Trade and Industry, addressed concerns via a Facebook post that the fish he was seen holding during his visit to a local fish farm on Monday, Jan. 18, was “dead”.

Koh explained that the fish had been anaesthetised with food grade clove oil so it would not struggle or get hurt while it was being held out of the water.

However, the fish said this is not true and the person who was sedated, was Koh himself.

The fish, which wanted to be known as Yu, said: “Can’t you tell who was sedated?”

“Do I look like the one who is simply going through motion?”

“If I was sedated, both of us are tied for first place for being like limp fish.”

“Because he obviously doesn’t know what he is doing, being a fish out of water and completely out of depth.”
