S’pore enters Guinness World Records 2015 for fastest swimming pool ever built

Posted on 06 December 2015

Pool took approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who recognise an amazing feat when they see one, are applauding non-stop and nodding their heads in appreciative acknowledgement.

This after a swimming pool was completed in 20 minutes on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 5, 2015, in Ang Mo Kio.

One Singaporean, Yew Yong, said: “As a Singaporean, I am proud that this will continue to add to our reputation for being fast and efficient.”

“It is always great to see community projects like this where world class facilities sprout up like mushrooms out of nowhere.”

Other Singaporeans said the initiative for the fastest swimming pool to be built must have been conceived by the best engineering brains the country has to offer.

Another local, Jia Xiang, said: “It really brings us back to the days when we were in kampung living.”

“No one I recall voted for this, so that makes it an even more pleasant surprise.”

At press time, more of such swimming pools are being built all over Singapore.

Must compliment our government for such high efficiency, no wonder we are a developed nation. Even Switzerland cannot compete.
