NS for locals, ramen business for foreigners.

Singaporeans from all walks of life, who appreciate the irony of everyday situations, have come out to complain about two ramen stalls recently opened by a foreigner.

This after the two ramen stalls were publicised in the press to be opened by a well-known foreigner in Singapore who is known to be anti-foreigner.

One Singaporean, Kuai Shou Mian, said: “Is selling ramen a job that locals cannot do? Why must foreigners come here to sell ramen? This is taking away jobs from Singaporean ramen sellers and causing unnecessary competition for locals in the F&B business.”

Another Singaporean, Filbert Foh, said: “NS for locals, ramen business for foreigners.”

However, not all Singaporeans feel the same way as they are willing to look at the bigger picture of things.

Ben Di Ren, another local, said: “Eat Lor Mee better. $3 only.”
