Three thoughts that must have went past your mind at some point.

The Ministry of National Development (MND) put out a press release on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, saying it found that FM Solutions and Services (FMSS) — the former managing agent of Aljunied-Hougang-Punggol East Town Council (AHPETC) — has been “grossly profiteering” off the town council.

The news comes barely two weeks before General Election 2015 polling day on Sept. 11 and on the same day the Workers’ Party is unveiling its manifesto.

Here are three thoughts Singaporeans have:

sian-half-auntie “If only the Ministries and civil servants worked on Saturdays to solve problems for Singaporeans rather than trying to destroy PAP’s opponents.”
Hun Zhang, 43-year-old ex-civil servant

sian-half-uncle “The issue here is simple: The money that friend’s of Workers’ Party profited should have been made by friend’s of PAP.”
Chi Qian, 63-year-old licensed money lender

happy-bird-girl “More needs to be done to ensure ministries and civil servants work on Sundays too since they like to work on Saturdays.”
Jiak Leow Bee, 18-year-old unemployed
