Private condominium in S’pore looks like it might collapse, balcony warps, hangs precariously

Evacuation of residents might be carried out if concrete continues to bend.

It appears that the building defects that have plagued HDB flats that was reported in the news recently have now spread to private condominiums.

A photo showing the extent of the defects on the outer part of the building was found on Naomi Neo’s Instagram.

It clearly shows the condomonium in the background bending and looking as though the balcony is hanging precariously off the ledge and might break off any moment.

One housing expert, Shi Ling Chu, said: “It appears the building has warped. It is of utmost importance to evacuate the residents in that block and the surrounding blocks as the building might collapse and cause a domino effect.”

“Naomi Neo has to be evacuated as well as the building might fall on top of her.”
