Professional People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) animal activist Ashley Fruno forgot to give a f%@K in Singapore today.

She put on only her underwear and stood outside the Anson Road office of Air France on Thursday afternoon, probably to show that the weather in Singapore is very hot.

Singaporeans from all walks of life quickly pointed their fingers and blamed her, because she did not apply for a permit to protest.

However, many other locals said they were touched by the woman’s firm stance on monkeys.

Lao Gao, a Singaporean, said: “Now that I’ve seen a Caucasian woman wearing underwear in public holding a sign, I feel very strongly for monkeys’ rights.”

Wang Pei can be considered a new citizen of Singapore. She has been here all her life, just that her environment's changed beyond recognition.

Ha. I saw her from a distance today, complete with professional photographers in tow.

That and the seeming lack of gawking passers-by made me think it was an ad shoot.
