Old guard unimpressed Lianhe Wanbao, AsiaOne are such noobs at defamation

Posted on 30 November 2013

Mainstream media sucking at ruining reputations, end up apologising instead.

Lianhe Wanbao page 6 apology according to Goggle translate: "I, the editor, am a pu bor kia. I promise not to have sex with animals anymore. Not only am I a menace to society and a negative sex fiend with halitosis, I am a waste of air. I shall attempt to be more than what I am now in the future: A piece of turd. I'm sorry Nicole Seah and Steven Goh have to put up with my shit. And face."

Singaporeans who are part of the old guard are disappointed with Lianhe Wanbao and AsiaOne as they are sucking very badly at defamation.

This after Lianhe Wanbao and AsiaOne published articles trying to damage Nicole Seah’s reputation, but ended up with backlash so massive, both publications have been forced to retract and apologise and SPH share prices are expected to fall next quarter.

Poh Lan Pah. an old guard hardliner in his 70s, who still goes out dressed only in white, said: “Lianhe Wanbao and AsiaOne really sucks. Want to defame also cannot do it properly. What a bunch of losers.”

“Be prostitutes and running dogs for the government very difficult meh?”

Other Singaporeans who are more understanding of the present-day circumstances surrounding the mainstream media, said they are more understanding and sympathetic.

Mei Liang Xing, a local said: “I think the reporters and editors in Lianhe Wanbao and AsiaOne should practise drowning little animals like hamsters and chinchillas everyday.”

“This will slowly but surely chip away at whatever’s left of their conscience, so eventually there will be none, and their job will be easier.”
