SingTel’s Grid Girl winner won contest despite no religious leaders blessing her

Posted on 20 September 2013

Her win defies religious logic.

Shannon Lim (centre) is the winner of this year’s uber prestigious SingTel’s Grid Girls contest after beating seven other contestants to come out tops.

Her win came as a shock to the religious community in Singapore as she was not blessed by religious leaders, who blessed the F1 race track last week to ensure all’s well, ends well.

Bai Guan Yin, a local religious person, said: “If you weren’t blessed and you still managed to win, it might just prove that maybe religions are actually just illusions that makes one feel better.”

The winning SingTel Grid Girl will flag off the race on Sunday.

Her new found prominence will definitely ensure she has many worshipping at her feet.
