Hong Lim Park protest against haze cancelled as haze worsens

Posted on 22 June 2013

Haze pulls a fast one on protesters.

The Hong Lim Park protest against the haze in Singapore this Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. has been cancelled.

Organisers of the protest called Haze Is The Virus I Just Want To Minus, said this is due to the worsening of the haze as the PSI level now is as high as some of the girls who had too much at Zouk last night.

The organiser, Jin Hay Si, said: “We wanted to protest against the haze because Singaporeans protesting has been quite fashionable these days.”

“But unfortunately, the protest venue is outdoors. And the haze pulled a fast one on us.”

However, other Singaporeans said this protest is helpful and there are lessons learnt even though it did not take place.

The good news?

“I think the Singapore government can take a leaf out of haze’s book,” said Pi Ey Pee, a status quo-maintaining douchebag.
