Cold Storage lauded for helping S’poreans fight inflation

Posted on 19 May 2013

Supermarket chain demonstrates how every cent counts.

Cold Storage, the fresh food people, has been lauded by Singaporeans from all walks of life for providing the discount of the century.

On offer at the supermarket chain the last two weeks until May 15 was the Progress Gold milk powder formula, which after the awesome price discount, appears to be manna sent from heaven:

One Singaporean mother of two, Yang Hai Zi, said: “I will be taking this cost savings to my financial planner to find out the numerous ways to invest it to generate greater yield.”

Others have expressed their gratitude to all people who have made this cost savings possible.

Another Singaporean woman, Seng Hai Zi, who is about to give birth, said: “It might not be as much as what the President of Singapore makes a year, but every cent counts.”

“This discount would not have been possible without the PAP.”
