Book Giveaway

Posted on 09 March 2011

One of our heroes has been getting some flak for her latest book, “Miss Seetoh in the World”. According to ST reviewer Akshita Nanda, the book sounded like every other book Catherine Lim has ever written.

We think otherwise. The Ah-Jie of local literature fired back a reply in no time, saying that the review missed the key selling point of the novel: It was the first time in her 30-year career that she’s ever written a book that had a political theme.

So here’s what we’re going to do. One free signed copy of “Miss Seetoh in the World” for a 600-800 word article that explores the political theme of her book. Three books to be given away in total = three lucky readers/writers.

Deadline: Mid-April or whenever we get 3 awesome reviews. First come first serve. Courtesy of Marshall Cavendish.
