Singaporeans from all walks of life, who like to watch Korean drama serials because the plot twists leave them hanging on to the edge of their seats, are biting their nails and experiencing heavy breathing at the latest turn of events.

This after it was revealed that the nine Terrex Infantry Carrier Vehicles that ended up at Hong Kong customs on Nov. 23, were actually seeking political asylum in China and have no plans to return to Singapore.

One Singaporean, Zho Hee Seow, said: “This all makes sense now. The real reason the nine Terrex vehicles are not back in Singapore is not because China does not want to release them but because they do not want to come back.”

“Usually when you seek political asylum in another country, you will be detained.”

“That is exactly what happened to the nine Terrexes.”

Other locals said for nine Terrex vehicles to seek political asylum shows something.

Kua Hee Gong, another local, said: “This explains everything.”

“Guess they were seeking greener pastures so that they can blend in more easily.”
