The first 24 hours have past, but all are determined to win the $90,000 Cat B COE.

In a show of how highly prized the $90,000 COE is, all 400 contestants taking part in this year’s inaugural LTA COE Challenge 2013 have not budged from their position.

They are determined to be the last one standing with their hand on the oversized COE paper, one of the most highly sought after piece of thing in Singapore.

Judges of the COE Challenge that New Nation spoke to said this year’s competition held at Ngee Ann City’s Civic Plaza since Nov. 2 will most likely have its rules tweaked to at least weed out some participants.

Hen Gong Ping, a judge said: “If we see that there are still so many competitors left several hours later, we will make the rules tighter.”

“We are thinking of not giving any more toilet or meal breaks and we might convert the competition into Hunger Games, since the competition is already so fierce.”

“Singaporeans have shown that they are willing to put their lives on the line just to own a car. So many of them buy a car to go to work, just so they can earn money to buy a car.”
