She claims she did it for opposition and incumbent unity.
A woman who fainted at the North Vista Secondary School nomination centre this afternoon has claimed that she did it to promote opposition and incumbent unity.
Her picture is currently trending on Facebook as she has generated immense interest as to why she fainted.
The woman, who refused to be named but was wearing a pair of Tom’s, said: “Dr Chee pulled SDP out of the race to promote opposition unity.”
“I am doing the same. I fainted so that all political parties can put aside their differences and attend to me.”
However, her antics only won the attention of Dr Janil Puthucheary, an ex-Malaysian who did not serve NS but is now a Singaporean MP.
Her condition is stable and she can still give birth.
Moreover, this is not the first time a PAP-linked personnel has come to the rescue of run-of-the-mill Singaporeans in times of distress.
They are always there when someone is in need.
Except when HDB flat prices are too high. That’s when they can’t help you.
Update:
This news has made it onto STOMP, Singapore’s premier citizen journalism site owned by Singapore Press Holdings. No one in the STOMP newsroom has noticed that the quote was fake, as of 3:30pm, more than an hour after we published the article.
Unfortunately, no mention was made of her ability to still get pregnant after her condition stabilised.
We attribute that to the incompetence of the editors at STOMP.
